STEMFest NZ takes a short break…

After careful consideration and evaluation of various factors with key partners, we would like to inform the community that the Tauranga STEM Festival will not be taking place in 2024. We understand that this news may be disappointing to many.

However, we are excited to announce that the Tauranga STEM Festival will return in 2025 on Sunday 28th September and will continue to be a significant event on our calendar. Moving forward, we have decided to transition the festival into a biennial event, which means it will occur every two years. This strategic decision has been made to ensure that the content presented at the festival is always new and of the highest quality.

By hosting the festival biennially, we aim to provide attendees with innovative and engaging experiences, featuring the latest developments and advancements in STEM fields. This approach allows us time to curate a diverse range of activities, exhibits, and presentations, ensuring that each edition of the festival offers unique opportunities for learning and exploration.

We truly appreciate everyone’s support and enthusiasm for the Tauranga STEM Festival, and we assure our community and partners that we are committed to delivering an exceptional event in 2025 and beyond.

In lieu of the STEM Festival in 2024, we are working on other innovative and exciting events and we’ll be sharing more information in the coming weeks with opportunities for our supporters to be involved, so stay tuned for updates.

We thank you for your understanding and continued support.
The Board of STEM Wana Trust and The STEMFest Team
