
STEMFest wins Community Award for Event Excellence
March 2023 – STEM Wana Trust are proud to announce that Tauranga STEM Festival (STEMFest) has been awarded the Western Bay Community Award for Event Excellence for the second time.


Thank you to everyone who came to our STEM in the Community x NASA event!
Dr. Rubins toured the central North Island, starting her tour at Palmerston North’s Te Manawa Museum on Sunday 8th January with an interactive workshop for families, stopping off at Taupō and Rotorua on Monday 9th January for a meet and greet with young space and science fans, culminating in a waterfront ‘A Night in with a NASA Astronaut’ extravaganza in Tauranga on Tuesday 10th January.
